That moment is what I care about.
Who I am
I’m Laura Spencer. I lead organizations and build learning environments for a living. I have spent my career inside the work that most leadership writing only describes from a distance: the rooms where decisions actually get made, the systems that look strong until they are tested, the people who carry weight that does not show up in the reports.
Outside of work, I am usually off-road in the desert. Reading terrain. Navigating uncertainty. Both worlds teach the same lesson.
What works under ideal conditions is not what matters. What matters is what holds when things get real.
